Charlie (aka Dutch)

8 - 10 Year Old Boxer

2/18 - Dutch has come a long way since his first few weeks here. It has been such a pleasure to see him playing with his squeaky toys and bones. I rarely see him without one of them in his mouth as he walks throughout the house. He has also gone from shying away from and barely tolerating my dog to great friends with her. They still don't actively play but they are able to share their toys and treats very well and explore the yard together all the time. They enjoy each other's company. I am hoping someone will open their home to Dutch to enjoy his last years as he is a great dog who just wants to be loved. He is eager to please and will do anything for a treat!.

12/17 - Charlie has arrived at his foster home. We found out that his original name is Dutch. Which we are now using as he does respond to it. The introductions to the resident dogs went well. He is very thin, and he is limping a lot. He has been neutered, had some dental work and is also being treated by Lyme Disease. Watch for updates as he settles in and starts to feel better.

Charlie was found as a stray and never claimed by his owners, we are not sure of his exact age but its probably somewhere around 10. Charlie is a good looking senior with a young personality. He is good with other dogs and loves everyone he meets and is full of wiggles and kisses.
