Lucy

3 Year Old Spayed Female Boxer, Good with Kids, Cats and Other Dogs

Although you may not be able to adopt this dog, you can help us care for her while she is in foster care! Even a donation of $5 will help us with vet care, food, etc.

4/30 - Lucy is so easy going, really sweet, and very patient.  She is getting along with the resident Shi Tzu and male boxer and loves, loves, loves to play!  She has been crated, but not left alone just yet. She had a bath and met a lot of new people over the weekend and she was very well behaved.  Her foster mom feels she could be placed with another dog or by herself.  She
just kind of goes with the flow.  They are working on her leash manners and teaching her to not pull.

4/27 - Lucy is settling in at her foster home. Her foster Moms says Lucy is a gem :)  She is
a sweet girl, adjusting well, is good with her daughters who are 11 and 15.  She's a tiny girl at 40
lbs.  Lucy has been getting along great with their dog and loves to play.  She knows some basic commands such as sit and she does not jump on people or furniture. You can tell she has been around people a lot.  She has started to introduce her to the crate by leaving the door open and letting her go in and out on her own.

Lucy is a very cute girl with an under bite and a tail !!! She is house broken and crate trained.  She has lived with a cat and was great with him.  She also loves to play with other dogs.

Lucy went to our vet today to get all her vaccinations and got a clean bill of health.  Then she headed off to her foster home.  Updates to follow as her foster home gets to know her more.
