Oscar
1 Year Old Male, Good with Other Dogs and Older Kids, No History with Cats, Crate Trained Although you may not be able to adopt this dog, you can help us care for him while in foster care! Even a donation of $5 will help us with vet care, food, etc.
3/14 - Oscar has only been with us
for a couple days but we can already tell he is a sweet,
gentle boy. He loves to meet new people and knows not to
jump on anyone. He loves attention and gets along great
with his foster sister. As we get to know him we'll
introduce him to lots of other dogs but we're willing to
bet he won't have any problems. He is housebroken and
crate trained. He picked right up on going to his room
when we leave in the morning and we didn't hear a peep
out of him. He is a big cuddle bug too, always loves to
be right by your side. He also knows a lot of commands
including, sit, stay, and down. He's not perfect with
those but is very attentive to learning new things. He
will make someone a great companion. Again, as we get
to know him we'll update more.
Oscar is absolutely wonderful! He is 1.5 year old neutered brindle male. There isn't one negative thing to say. He is one of the most well mannered boxers I have met in a long time and he is a CUTIE! He is great with other dogs, he lives with a 3 year old female boxer and loves the other dogs in the neighborhood. He loves to run and run. He is good on a leash. He has been around and lived with another dog his whole life so we would like to see him placed with another dog. He is wonderful with kids but due to his energy might be best with slightly older kids. He also knows several basic commands. Oscar will make someone a wonderful pet.
