Murph
2 Year Old Male Boxer, Good with Other Dogs and Kids, No History with Cats 4/29 Well, Murph has been in his foster home for a couple of days now so I will share what I have learned from him thus far. Murph is WONDERFUL. He is awesome with the other resident dogs, both big and small. He seems a bit too curious about the cat and though I seriously doubt he would cause her harm, I think a home without cats would be best for him. Murph is completely housebroken and crate trained and has been a perfect gentleman in my house. I believe he could be a door bolter, if given the chance, so his new home needs to be very careful when opening doors to the outside with him.....he LOVES to be outside. Murph is VERY high energy and will require a family that can help him use this energy in a positive way. A fenced in yard would be best for him because of his energy level and another dog of compatible energy should also be a requirement. Murph LOVES to play "ball" and will chase a ball for HOURS in the fenced area of his yard. He has shown absolutely no aggression towards people or other dogs with food, toys, treats, etc. Murph was fed a raw diet in his previous home and his foster home also feeds a raw diet. We would like to see him continue with this diet, so his permanent home will be one that will do that. I don't have children in my home, but I think Murph would be OK with kids. Toddlers/infants or smaller children probably wouldn't be the best, though, since he is quite bouncy and clumsy. He will be off to our vet on Tuesday for a general exam and he will then be ready for a forever home.
Murph is a very handsome 2 year old male, who loves to snuggle and play, especially with balls. He needs a home where he will get lots of exercise and attention. He is crate trained and housebroken, loves to play with other dogs and is good with kids but might be best with slightly older kids due to his energy level. Murph is on his way to his foster home today, updates will follow as he settles in. |
