Homer

Homer took over the recliner. He looks like he's king of the house here. I'm just waiting for him to learn how to recline it now.  His sister, Taffy, still won't give up her pillow in my bed but doesn't mind him having the recliner. At night he still sleeps at my feet in the bed.

Homer & I have been going to Obedience School now for 2 weeks.
This is a once a week professional training for 8 weeks, and we practice what we learn on our own during the week between lessons.  We practice every evening after supper on the side of the street. I use the distances between the telephone poles and give him his commands at each pole. He is doing "GREAT", sits when I stop most of the time without being told, and now is learning to "stay" in that position even if I move to the side a few feet.

He is eating well. He and Taffy are playful together. I am thinking of investing in a queen size bed in the near future since both he and Taffy have decided to sleep with me. But Taffy stands firm with regards to sharing her pillow, so Homer settles for the foot of the bed.
