Here are some newer pictures of Kiki. She is doing great! She has become a lot braver with strangers now. She has made great friends with a couple of our cats. Her best friend is a maine coon. They love to give each other kisses. I'm still trying to catch a picture of it. She enjoyed her first Halloween costume. She loves to be dressed up in her raincoat (she hates the rain) and bandanas because she's told how beautiful she is. She has taken over the corner of the couch as you can see in the picture. I can't believe we haven't even had her a year yet. It feels like shes always been ours.

Kiki has really become a member of our family.  She is a joy to be around and
a lot of fun!  She enjoys playing with her two doggy cousins, Buffy (a Golden
Retriever) and Ariel (a Lab and Dalmation mix).  She helps me every morning
with the feeding and watering of our two ferrets and two parakeets.  We have
9 indoor cats and my inlaws have 3 cats (2 inside-outside cats and 1 outdoor
cats) and she does great with them too.  She has never showed any aggression
towards anyone or any of the other animals.

She loves giving kisses to her doggy cousins, family and even the cats - the
ones that let her.  Her "kitty kissing buddies" are Baby (is one of ours),
Dah Dah and Mouse.  She loves playing chase with one of our cats, Poo Poo
Head and she loves teasing her back.

She has an extended family that she loves to see and kiss.  She teases
everyone with her toys.  She will carry one in her mouth and bring it to
everyone that's around (including the cats!).

She's still nervous with meeting people, but as long as I stand right next to
her and do the introduction is warms right up to people.

She loves to run in the yard and take long walks on our family's apple
orchard.  She loves to play frisbee outside and chase her new Daddy.  I've
never seen a dog run so fast.

She spends a lot of time playing with her toys inside too, either by herself
or with us.  She makes sure everyday that she spends at least a little time
with all her toys.  We are named them all and if you ask her to go get one
she always brings the right one over.

Everyone that has met her comments on how well behaved she is, what a good
dog she is and how funny she is.

She loves to cuddle on the couch and look out the window.

She always greats us the a smile, a wagging tail and a wiggling behind!

She has really become a member of our family and it's hard to believe we've
only had her for 1.5 months.

We've slowly introduced her to her new family. She did so well meeting us the
first day that she met her new Grandmother and Great-Grandmother the next day
(they live in an Inlaw apartment in the house).  Her 1yr birthday was on
5/28/01 so we had a Birthday party for her and she got to meet my parents
(her Grandmother and Grandfather).  Buffy comes to visit almost everyday to
play and she met my brother and his dog, Ariel on July 4th.  She won the
hearts of all her extended family right away.

She's a really easy going dog and so easy to love.  I can't imagine not
having her in our lives.  We hate leaving her for even a second even though
she's so good about being in her crate.  We look forward to waking up to her
everyday.  Within the first week she had adjusted herself to the new schedule
and home.  I've been spoiled because I've been able to take sometime off of
work before going back to College to spend with her and I husband has even
adjusted his hours so he can get home to spend some more time with her before
dinner.

We have no doubt that she loves us and hope she knows how much we love her.

It's funny to think we went through a Boxer Rescue to end up with a Lab mix,
but we wouldn't exchange her for any other dog in the world!!!!

We want to thank Boxer Buddies again for bringing this wonderful animal into
our lives.
